The Kollywood superstar Dhanush makes his debut in Malayalam through the multi-star movie ‘Kammath & Kammath’. Dhanush is a guest actor in the movie which has Mammotty and Dileep in leading roles. The Kammath brothers are the owners of the hotel chains all over the state. Dhanush’s entry is as a superstar who inaugurates one of the new hotels of the duo. Mammotty adorns the role of Rajaraja Kammath and Dileep as Devaraja Kammath in the movie ‘Kammath & Kammath’.

Earlier Jayaram was chosen for the role of Dileep later it was changed and Dileep chosen for the guest role was given to Dhanush. The movie is the second directorial venture of Thomson K Thomas who did ‘Kariyasthan‘. The shooting started in Kochi and Sibi K Thomas pens the script.
The highlight of the movie is the Malayalam slang, the Kammath brothers talk in Kongini Malayalam. Mammotty has touched the heart of Keralities by using Thiruvananthapuram slang in ‘Rajamanikyam’, Thrissur slang in ‘Pranchiettan and the saint’ and Kannada-Malayalam slang in ‘Chattambinadu’. Reema Kallingal and Karthika are the heroines of Kammath brothers.
Other actors in the movie are Vishnupriya, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Sivaji Guruvayoor and Rizabava. Anil Kumar is the cinematographer and M Jayachandran weaves the music for the movie. The big budget movie
